Chapter 11 completely destroys the investigative judgment premise and is the most important chapter in this
book. Newly improved July 2008. http://www.tithing-russkelly.com/sda/id51.html

for the few these writings of yours are burden lifting. Thanks for helping us to be free from the entagling web of lies. What
an honest rendering of Scripture. For now all I can say is I know what a person goes through when they speak like you do.

5.out of 5 starsEven the Blind Can See, August 6, 2009
It's been a long time since I read Dr Kelly's books and I seem to remember that
he is legally blind. What I find interesting is that someone who could just back off of in depth Bible study due to a disability
delves all the more.
It is expected that SDAs will get defensive about anything that supports the Bible and contradicts
their beliefs--I know this well because I am a former SDA. But rather than get defensive I would examine the materials that
both defend SDA beliefs as well as those that challenge them. If the Bible is correct and SDA beliefs can stand up to scrutiny
then it is worth examining. Otherwise the tactic of attacking all who oppose your view rather than a thorough examination
is no better than the Mormons who will not read any material not printed by their church.

Outstanding, easy-to-understand book, February 4, 2009
Dr. Kelly has an incredible gift in being able to take complex theological subjects,
such as the Seventh-day Adventist sanctuary doctrine, and make them easy to understand. I was floored by the overwhelming
Biblical evidence presented by Dr. Kelly showing how the SDA teachings on the Sanctuary and Investigative Judgment contradict
the plainest teachings in the Bible. This book is a "must-read" for every reform-minded Seventh-day Adventist leader or layman.
RESEARCHING TRUTH through scripture, August 11, 2008
This book is phenominal for the Bible researcher who wants to take Dr. Kelly's follow-up research
and comparing it to scripture with how many deceptions of SDA's fall between the cracks of Biblical truth. My eyes were open
and Dr. Kelly encourages reading the bible along side of his research and doesn't approach with hate or in an opinionated
way, but by full detailed researching through scriptural analysis. It gives a highly detailed account of the beliefs of current
SDA members and challenges those beliefs with Biblical truth that cannot be denied. If you intend to criticize this book before
reading it, as an SDA member of the church,it might be because the revealing of the truth may set you free and most are afraid
to see that what beliefs they had are incorrect and not biblical.(For those who aren't complacent and really do read and study
the bible) I have now 3 SDA friends who have changed because of reading this book. I challenge anyone to read this book with
all its Biblical research and truth, and try to deny the truth of the information provided.
An indepth Study of Adventist key doctrines, December 7, 2007
Dr.Kelly has written about the most detailed study on the ancient Jewish sanctuary
worship from which the Adventists have created their Investigative Judgment doctrine. He goes in as much detail as humanly
possible to show where Adventists have misinterpreted Old Testament scripture. It is now easy to understand why SDA scholar
Desmond Ford has such problems with the Adventist Investigative Judgment doctrine, ending in his deflocking & the resignation
of hundreds of Adventists pastors, theologians, university professors & students of the Bible.
While the book
does not go into the Hebrew or Greek language, for the layperson, it is a book that one has to spend time on in understanding
the various facets of the sanctuary worship system.
Dr.Kelly also views other facets of the Adentist religion that
can be very useful in dialogues with Adventist apologists. One such topic is the weekly Sabbath rest (the major tool used
for recruitment by the SDA), the day of atonement & the scapegoat ritual, as well as other facets of the SeventhDay Adventist
religion.
I highly recommend the book to all who would want an indepth critique of Adventism.
I Highly Recomend SDAs & people who are considering joining the Seventh-day
Adventist religion to read Kelly's book. Russell Earl Kelly exposes the Seventh-day Adventist religion in good detail. He
writes how the Seventh-day Adventists trick people into their church by getting the unbeliever and other Christians "Hooked"
on the Sabbath & then converting that person into Adventism. The Seventh-day Adventist believe if people don't practice
Saturday Sabbath, those people will get the mark of the beast(666)automatically. The Seventh-day Adventist religion are Sabbath
centered, not Christ centered. A true believer in Christ Jesus IS Christ centered. Please read Kelly's book & stay away
from false religions like the Seventh-day Adventist cult! *NOTE: Please read Nelson KJV/NKJV Bible if you want to know about
Jesus Christ; read the book of Romans, Galatians, & Hebrews more then once, so you will know you are saved by Jesus' loving
grace! Also watch a DVD documentry that exposes the SDA religion called 'Seventh-day Adventism: The Spirit Behind The Church'
by Grace Upon Grace Productions & another DVD documentry titled 'Called To Be Free'.
A Rebuttal of Seventh-day Adventist Teachings, July 26, 2007
The is a well written book with excellent documentation. Nothing is presented
in the book without the inclusion of supportive material. Every page is loaded with information. There is no "jibber-jabber"
wasted text anywhere in the book. The reader gets their money's worth in this book.
The Truth About Seventh-Day Adventism, May 2, 2006
This scholarly work is a must read for anyone considering becoming a member
of the Seventh-Day Adventist church. It will also open the eyes of current members to what their church really teaches. Ellen
White prophet or not, read the book and decide for yourself.
